On the Road, At the Races!

Health Works Footsey stallOn Thursday we attended the Footsey 2010 annual event. At 7.30am Tim, Nathaniel and David set off in a car fully loaded with new Healthworks promotional material, a fat suit and plenty of fruit kebabs.

They headed to the event hosted at Doncaster race courses to promote Healthworks and network with other people working in the third sector.

Footsey is a corporate event that showcases social enterprises in Yorkshire and Humberside and provides a platform to promote themselves. It is held annually and is now in its ninth year. Over 100 organisations exhibited at this years conference and Healthworks has made some great new contacts both in the business world and with like-minded charities that we can support and in turn be supported by.

Complimentary fruit kebabs were handed out with Healthworks logos as a gift to promote ourselves and the benefits of healthy eating. They went down a treat with hungry attendees as did our ‘guess the weight of the fat suit’ competition.
