Volunteer With Us
Volunteer Development Programme
Volunteers are a vital part of our work. Our volunteers help deliver activities, foster community development and improve their health.
- Our focus is as much about the development and progress of the individual volunteers as it is about the work that they do.
- Volunteers are supported every step of the way, with access to training opportunities and one-to-one support from the Volunteer Co-ordinator.
What can volunteers do?
Volunteers get involved in a range of activities, including physical activities, community events, festivals, office work, and buddying.
Volunteers also have the opportunity to work on their own projects. This could include planning and development, organising events, setting up activities, running groups, assisting in monitoring, and writing project reports. We encourage volunteers to get involved in all stages of a project to develop their skills and experience as broadly as possible.
